Want to try something totally different? How about adding orange peel, cinnamon, coconut, chili bits, red pepper? If you have problems imagining how this “concoction” will taste we can assure you that you will be pleasantly surprised. What a flavor combination. You will not find anything like it.

I was a little nervous after finding some red peppercorns in the sample and I also know this tea has dried orange peel as well as rooibos so I thought it would be curious and interesting.
Hmmm, for a rooibos blend this is pretty nice. I like my rooibos with soymilk so that’s how I’m drinking it this afternoon. The orange element is very strong and I’m also picking up on coconut and a nice spicy element. It’s a bit like a rooibos chai but fruitier. Nice afternoon tea but I don’t think I need to run out and buy any. :-) Thanks for sharing, T = B!

This has an interesting aroma. I can smell the orange, the cinnamon, the chili and the rooibos… and together they create a very intriguing scent. The rooibos is less obvious in the flavor than it is in the scent, and that’s just the way I like my rooibos. The woody/nutty taste is there, but it isn’t very strong. The cinnamon and orange are much stronger. The coconut is barely there, but, I like the way it peeks its way through.
The chili is subtle at the start, and it slowly develops, and eventually builds to a point where it sort of kicks you at the finish. The more I sip on this, the more I’m liking it.
