From Tazo

These exquisite spring-harvested, hand-rolled tea “pearls” originate in China’s Fujian province. Green teas of the highest quality are naturally scented when jasmine blossoms are added to the tea. Later removed, the blossoms leave behind their sweet, lasting essence. The scenting process may occur up to five times, thoroughly imparting jasmine’s sublime perfume. The pearls unfurl beautifully when brewed, creating a pale-yellow cup with light astringency and body.

CHINESE GREEN TEA SCENTED WITH JASMINE FLOWERS.

Ok, I’ll keep this short and sweet. I LOVE Jasmine Dragon Pearls with an unholy passion. I can’t comprehend anyone that doesn’t love them. These guys smell jasminey in my cup and taste great! As long as I don’t let it steep too long I have nver been disappointed in any JPs from any shop or company. Maybe not 100% as good as my Ovation ones but very close….so yum!

If I had a tea shop in Ba Sing Se, I would name it after this tea, the Jasmine Dragon. The best jasmine tea I’ve ever had. Ever so slightly soapy, the floral notes remain pleasant, and entirely aromatic.

This is a tea I picked up at a Tazo store a few months ago. The tiny rolled balls just fascinated me! It was pretty pricy (for me, at least!), but I’m glad I bought it. It has a beautiful scent and pretty much tastes like it smells. I find myself wanting to just hold the mug and breathe in the steam! This is the first jasmine tea I’ve purchased, and I’m really curious to try some other (cheaper) brands and see how they compare. Also, this may be a no-no, but I use the same tea in my little tea infuser 2 or 3 times without any perceptible decline in flavor.

Multiple infusion is certainly not a no-no for green teas! You’d be throwing precious liquid down the drain if you discarded the leaves after only one infusion!
