From Simpson & Vail

This organic green tea comes from the Seogwang Tea Garden located in Seogwipo, Jeju Island, South Korea. This area was designated as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. The water, soil and temperature all combine here to create the perfect environment in which to grow high quality teas. This tea is plucked mid-end of June and is roasted with a traditional Korean technique.

These vibrant green leaves have a fresh, exquisite vegetal aroma. This tea brews to a light jade color with a delicate, creamy vegetal taste.

Brew tea at 180º – steep for 2 minutes.

Mastress Alita’s sipdown challenge Saturday, November 13th: National Hug a Musician Day Tea #2

Another favorite, Jonathan Wilson! He has a song called ‘Korean Tea’ and I definitely know that this tea is Korean.  And a good one!  The song starts:
“Would you like to come to my house and play records
And drink the rest of this Korean tea?”so that’s fun.  Jonathan Wilson is another underrated favorite, that I know I have mentioned before.  And this challenge was a good way to pull out this tea.
