From Savoy Tea Co

Chocolate, kissed with strawberry, makes this delicious Pu’erh a tea to swoon over. The darkest of all teas, Pu’erh is the only tea that is fermented. Add a splash of milk and a touch of sugar to bring out all the warm chocolate flavor and all those fuzzy feelings.

Ingredients:
Xiao Yeh Pu’erh,
Raw Organic Cacao Nibs,
Natural & Artificial Flavor

I’ve never been a fan of nutella as I think its too sweet, but this is pretty close. Chocolate up front and nutty goodness on the back. All made from puerh, so a different base than other chocolate teas. I think this could find its way into my shopping cart sometime soon (along with the salted caramel puerh)!

Flavors: Chocolate, Hazelnut

I always feel like I’m the only one on this planet who doesn’t really like Nutella. I’m glad there are two of us at least!

Make it three!

Courtney

Four :)

That’s funny … I pulled up my tasting note for the same name (it’s 6 years old) and I was raving about strawberry. I think Savoy must switch out their labels every so often.

Michelle

Gmathis – I mean chocolate goes with everything, right?

gmathis

I haven’t experimented with fish or broccoli yet, so the results are still out…

Michelle

If you covered broccoli with dark chocolate, I’d probably try it. I have a friend who said she would pulverize broccoli and put it in brownies to get her kids to eat some veggies, never got a chance to taste them, but her kids didn’t seem to mind (or know!)

Couldn’t be any worse than the V8 juices that taste fruity.

Best surprise Christmas treat to myself ever. (I had purchased a sample pack a good while ago, and it had woodged itself down to the bottom of the heap.) Unearthed it, opened it, and was transported to dark chocolate and strawberry rapture. (Or something like that.)

Has a nice thick creamy mouthfeel to it without milk. The strawberry tastes like strawberry and not soda pop syrup. Will hoard the rest and divvy it out parsimoniously over the next few weeks … Janu-weary often requires little treats along the way. This one will help beat the blahs.

Janu-weary…sigh. How appropo. We have had two days of rain, and the week will end with rain followed by wintry mix or snow.

Back to work today; a balmy 19 outside, warmest morning we can expect for the rest of the week. A good friend sent me a little post-Christmas treat: dish towel that reads “SUNSHINE is my favorite accessory.”
