Thank you Lala for this sample.
This is the first tea from Red Leaf that I have tried that was not a matcha. Champagne infused white raspberry tea could not sound fancier if it tried, I am very much looking forward to trying this. :)
The raw leaves have a very sweet and fresh, clear raspberry scent. Much stronger than I had expected. Perfect for this hot, sunny British day.
Once steeped this tea is yellow in colour with a subtle yet floral, sweet raspberry aroma. Very different from it’s raw form but just as pleasant.
Flavour is sweet, very fruity with a slight raspberry tartness and a hint of flowers. I’m not sure I can taste champagne but there is something I just can’t explain about it… a special flavour and quality about it.
As a whole it’s nice and light but rich with raspberry flavour. I also agree that it makes a perfect afternoon tea. The after taste is wonderfully fruity and sweet. Definitely exceeded my expectations.
wow two hit runs in one day I’m on a roll! :P
I need to try this again. My first cup did not impress…
Well I will buy it from ya if you don’t like it :)
