Advent tea!
It is baking season and this tea is the real deal vanilla taste. Vanilla buttercream with a hint of oak from the bourbon flavor? A smooth Assam underneath the creamy vanilla goodness. Wow this is a nice one, thank Lexie!

Flavors: Butterscotch, Cream, Oak, Vanilla

They (I think) carry this locally at our Natural Grocers. Kinda pricey, so I was reluctant to make that kind of investment in an unknown. Now I know!

I thought you might enjoy this one. I saw somewhere that someone said it was comparable to the Mariage Freres vanilla black tea. I’ve never tried that one though. This one was sold out for a long time on the website and at my local grocery store but after quite a bit of hunting, I was able to snag some from my local Fredmeyer. It was worth it though!

Michelle

Sometimes the tea tastes even better when there is effort involved!

gmathis

That’s true!

AJRimmer

Ooo sounds like I need to track down some of this one too!

Positively delicious! Not sure how it ended up in my cupboard, but I have been on a rampage to finish all my teas before my Dammann Freres and Lupicia orders come in and there it was. Love the creamy, smooth, full-on vanilla flavor. It reminded me of the vanilla you get in a french flan or in creme patissiere. Pure deliciousness. Can’t wait to try more from this brand!

Flavors: Butter, Cream, Sweet, Vanilla

This one unfortunately always seems to be out of stock on the site.

I finally found it at Fresh Market. Not sure if you have one of those near you…

Lexie Aleah

Unfortunately, we don’t have one but Amazon seems to carry this one. :)

So glad! Too many teas and not enough time! Lol

This is the closest thing I’ve had to Mariage Freres Vanille des Iles, which is my favorite vanilla tea. This one is full leaf in bags, so it’s good for when I want a quick brew without much fussing. It’s expensive, though. Not sure if I’m paying for convenience or marketing. That being said, it’s delicious. It’s got that same “so vanilla it borders on milk chocolate” flavor that I love. The dry leaf smell is mouthwatering. So, bottom line is, expensive but delicious. I’d probably buy it again if I had a craving for that flavor and couldn’t find Vanille des Iles.
