I really want to like this tea, because it tastes delicious!
Sadly, I only took a few sips, because unexpectedly my tongue started it’s reaction, & I don’t know if it’s a chemical thing, or an allergy, but I could feel my tongue & lower lip puffing up a little, & the start of an unhappy sensation all the way down to my gut.
I really hate being overly sensitive sometimes.
But I’ve learned that no matter how tasty a tea is, I will regret drinking it if I don’t listen to these cues, so down the drain it went…sigh…

Despite the name, this is an oolong tea.

The dry tea smells like a nice roasty oolong with a slight hint of peach. The brewed tea tastes like a nice roasty oolong, almost like roasted nuts. There is a touch of sweetness and a floral taste. It has a similar taste to morrocan orange blossom tea. There is a slight delicate peach taste at the beginning and end of the sip. Even though this is a roasty oolong, it is a light and refreshing tea. It gets sweeter and more peachy as it cools.

I love peach tea. This is an oolong peach. I think I could stop there and it would be enough, but you know I am seldom brief. The wet leaf scent is peach and roasted oolong. The sip begins lightly peach and then the oolong comes in mid sip and is much lighter on the roastiness than expected. If you dislike roasted oolongs, never fear, this is light and more nutty in flavor. Late in the sip it changes back to peach with some citrus notes. The cup is naturally sweet but will take additional sweetener if you are so inclined. The aftertaste lingers nicely.

The cooler the cup gets the stronger the flavors become – especially the peach. Lala said this was delicious cold brewed. Based on a room temperature cup, I totally believe her. This is a very refreshing tea.

Thanks to Nina’s Paris for sending this free sample. I warmed up my tiny teapot and added the tea into the hot pot to take a wiff before adding the water. I could smell the delicate peach scent and just a bit of roasty oolong. Brewed at 195F for 1.5 min. A tasty peach and a mild roasty flavour from the oolong. A very nice tea but like Terri Harplady I also got a tingling on the tongue. I finished most of mine though only because it does taste good and I’ve had worse reactions (most from David’s Tea Blends).

White Tiger Oolong… It smells so good. I get a nice scent of fresh peaches. The apricot comes out more in the flavour. Overall, a good summer blend.

mmm it smells just like peachy rings! This brewed up much darker than I expected given the name, but it’s not really an issue. This is a very smooth tea. I love the peach flavor! I think I would rather drink this than actually eat a peachy ring (all that sugar!). Very excellent midday pick-me up too!

I almost wouldn’t have believed this was an oolong, it was so full bodied. It was like a lighter black tea, and looked like a black tea in the dry leaves actually. It was delicious, which did not surprise me in the least given my love for peach tea. I took a few sips when it was still hot, but I prefer it cool I think because it gets even peachier.

The dry leaf – medium brown, twisty – smells smokey. I didn’t read this tea’s description until after I finished my cup, so I thought I was tasting some lemon/lime flavoring as well as peach the whole time. Very nice flavoring – strong yet light. It lingers long in the mouth after each sip. I let the liquor cool towards the end. This one tastes good both as hot and cold.

It’s not as green as the photo suggests, but it does give off a nice and pleasant peach aroma. Reminds me a bit of the peach rings that I used to love so much :)

Ooh. I think my water was a smidge too hot and it’s right on the edge of being bitter, but it’s really nice! I makes a nice, straight cup :) The peach is definitely there, and it’s not as sugary as the peach rings, but still has the nice bright summer fruit flavour :)
I really like this tea! Definitely a nice oolong with a nice fruity flavour. Peach is definitely present, and I’m also getting bits of apricot which is nice

Thanks to Nina’s for the sample! This has a lovely peach aroma. The peach flavor is present, but not overwhelming. The tea has a light sweetness, but with a slightly bitter finish. I think this would make an excellent iced tea.
