From Indigo Tea Company

Fukamushi Deep Steamed Sencha is steamed a little longer than other sencha green teas, resulting in a sweeter and less astringent taste. Popular in Tokyo, whereas Sencha is more popular in Kyoto.

Remember: keep the temperature low (160-180 degrees), and steep for only 1 or 2 minutes. Japan Sencha has a great lingering aftertaste. The second infusion (1-2 min.) is also delicious.

Brewed from a sample, I found Fukamushi Sencha to be more to my liking than the traditional style Sencha. Fukamushi has a smoother and sweeter taste to it which I would not describe as being grassy like most Sencha.
