From Fusion Teas

This fruit creation is spicy and fruity with a deliciously creamy aftertaste. Just like the freshly served, steamy apple strudel from Vienna. Air dried apples and strong cinnamon pieces hit your palate as the cream flavor finishes nicely giving it a smooth finish.

Ingredients: apple pieces, cinnamon, hibiscus, almonds, rose hip peel, elderberries, currants, black currant and flavoring.

This is tasty, and while I can get why they chose to call this apple strudel, this tastes more like hot apple-berry cider to me. The cinnamon is strong but not overwhelming, and I like the hint of almond in the background.

A nice, warming treat to enjoy on this rainy spring evening.

I’m not real fond of the aroma…it’s overly tarty fruity – so much so that it stings the nose…BUT

The taste is pretty good hot but even better COLD…yes! I am going to trek on with this as an Iced Tea or Tisane…does the trick! fruity with a hint of cinnamon.

From StarFevre! Thanks so much! I always wanted to try this one… though the resulting tea is less lovely than the name promises. I surely don’t expect hibiscus in anything called ‘Apple Strudel’. So that tanginess just ruins the cup. Hints of apple and cinnamon otherwise. And black currant? hmm. If the tangy ingredients were removed, this would be much better. Probably similar to Davids Forever Nuts. Just an odd combo of ingredients here.
