Smells awesome, this one. I love blueberries. Taste is alright, I get blueberries more than chocolate which is great because I have tons of chocolate tea so if I wanted a chocolate tea I would have just brewed those.

Unfortunately it is way more juicy smelly than it tastes, you get a fair bit of base, — oh man, if this tasted like it smells! — but I will definitely enjoy it as i start my workday this morning. Taking in the travel mug, two steeps combined, with 1 tsp of sugar added. Has good but faint blueberry aftertaste.

Thank you to TheTeaFairy for this sample. I think I will cold steep what’s left just to see. DAVIDs blueberry jam tastes way better cold steeped (don’t know about the chocolate bits in this one though).

Side note: I slept 3 hrs last night. I started reading “50 shades of grey”.

The concept of chocolate and blueberry seems odd to me. This actually wasn’t that bad – I felt more berry less chocolate. I also thought more generic berry than actual BLUEberry.
This was ok, I enjoyed it – but it did have some of the “tastes like all the other Della Terra teas” thing going on. This was just ok for me.

Thank you TheTeaFairy for sending some of this my way.

This sample was from BrewTEAllySweet! This is a tea I’ve been curious about, so I’m happy to have had the chance.

It definitely smells like bluberry… Yum. As for the taste? I get mostly blueberry, with a hint of (imagined?) vanilla, and then a little bit of the black base beneath. I’m not getting a lot of chocolate, but that sweetness can be what makes me think of vanilla. It’s a pretty relaxing cup for a Friday afternoon!

I’ve had a few cups of this while watching Doctor Who. I like the scent a lot, it’s very similar to these chocolate covered blueberries I really enjoy. The flavour is nicely berry, and a bit of chocolate. The blueberry is more prominent. Makes for a good afternoon tea.

Della Terra gave me a (surprisingly large) sample of this for free with my last order, wasn’t expecting it. Wouldn’t have picked it out of my own accord; I am generally wary of fruit teas, especially with tarter fruits like apples and berries. But this was pretty good for one! It does smell like real blueberry, tart and juicy, and the chocolate doesn’t clash with or overtake the blueberry as much as I was expecting. Not a favorite DT pick (but that’s not surprising given it was packed at random for me) but surprisingly fine.

Sipdown! And another tea from Janelle :)

Not great, IMO. A bit of blueberry flavour, no chocolate, and a bland black base. Pretty substandard, and not what I expected from Della Terra, but oh well. I don’t think I needed a chocolate/blueberry tea anyhow; I like blueberry cream teas better.
