Still have the original blend and it tastes better than I remember it. Now that it’s fall I will get to drinking it! It’s sweet, of course, a little artificial, but its tasty all the same.

Unexpectedly vile. So artificial you can smell it…and sour, too.

Here’s Hoping TTB

I’m not sure if this is the same Apple Cider tea that David’s has this year but I like this one. It is a little artificial/candy flavored but I’m not mad. It still tastes more like apple cider than apple juice which makes me happy. I’ll be taking this one out of the box to fill the hole in my collection where Celestial Seasonings’ Caramel Apple Dream once was.

Quick edit: if they wanted this to really be more like cider, it’s missing those cinnamon and clove notes I crave in cider.

Here’s Hoping TTB.

I did steep this for quite a while, but it ended up far too sweet. I really need to pick up some dried apple pieces though, since they seem to have a nice flavor for tea.

Back in my cupboard once again! I am that weirdo who goes into the shop and asks for $2 worth of a tea. The inevitable response is “that would only make about one cup” but buy $2 anyway because deep down I know I am cheap and that it will make me at least 4-5 because I let small amounts steep a long time. Hacker level 5000.

Anyway, this is a pleasant herbal tea with strong red apple, dried apple, and spice notes. I would have liked more clove (which I associate with a good apple cider), but cinnamon and blackberry leaves are good too.

Too sour! Yikes! Next time I’ll try it with the minimum time instead.

Received this in my secret pumpking package. Thank you so much! I haven’t had anything from David’s tea in awhile. I think this would be really good if you mixed it with chai. It’s pretty good on it’s own but there is a slight lemon flavor that’s a bit odd.

This lovely tea isn’t going to last long! I am starting to inhale it! It’s so yummy iced in my new iced tea travel press! I love this thing. Like so much!

Anyways, I’m loving this one as an iced tea. It’s already sweet enough on its own so nothing added to this one. The rest of my tin won’t last long now…

Have you ever cold-steeped it? I have a random bag hanging out in my collection, and I still haven’t tried it.

TheKesser

Haven’t tried the cold-steeping on this one yet. I could see that being pretty good though

Thanks for sending me some of this, EmilyGee!

As others have noted, this blend definitely needs no sweetener. It tastes just like hot apple juice – maybe a little thinner than actual juice. I really want it to have some cinnamon in the blend. It doesn’t quite seem like cider without cinnamon. So I made another cup with fresh leaf and half of a crushed up cinnamon stick. Alas, it still wasn’t quite enough. This is a sipdown but I’ll try for a full cinnamon stick if I ever have this again.
