Get enchanted

There’s something special about nettle leaves – according to Celtic lore, they have magical powers. Try putting them in your pockets to protect yourself from lightning, or in your shoes to stay out of danger. You can even make a broom from nettle leaves to sweep evil out of your house. So it goes without saying that with a nettle leaf tea in your cup, it’s going to be a good day. Taste the magic for yourself in this delicately sweet herbal blend of nettle leaves with grapefruit zest, ginger and lemongrass.

Organic: Nettle leaf, grapefruit peel, marshmallow root, ginger, lemongrass, calendula marigold, flavouring

Alright so this tea smells really weird dry leaf… I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it or not. But I got a bag full from someone on the DavidsTea group I’m in. So I finally got around to trying a hot cup of this. I don’t even really know what the ingredients of this are… But I’ve got to say, it’s not bad. I’m definitely tasting the ginger. (I’m not a big fan of ginger but I can tolerate it) And I don’t know what nettle leaf tastes like but I’m thinking that might be another unknown flavour in this. All in all, I’ll finish what I have of this, but it wasn’t really anything special.

Nettle Leaf is another one of the teas from my friend’s tea collection that I am drinking at one o’clock in the morning! But we are having fun here and that’s what counts.

This tea has a very strong and overpowering aroma but the taste is not that strong; it is very soothing and medicinal. Not something I would drink everyday, but it was nice to drink at this hour and I would think it would be good for sore throats? I’m not an expert but that’s the impression that I’m getting.
