And… this is my December 8 CuppaGeek tea.

Explosion of raspberry tea which was genuine and tasty, hints of lemon and lemongrass and lavender aftertaste. I liked the floral note of this tea, as well the mellow and noticeable base black tea. It has reminded me a bit of Vicky’s sponge cake from Bird and Blend Tea Co. and as I have loved that blend, this is very close to! Of course, there are differences, as for example the UK tea isn’t lemony and lavendery, but in raspberry flavour it is fairly similar!

Oh well… a tea I need a pouch of.

Second and very long (around 20 minutes) steep is quite on the malty side of the base I guess and some rasperry/lavender juicyness/aftertaste. Still great!

That sounds so good! I might scratch off labels until I find it! Ha ha!

Martin Bednář

You shouldn’t do that ashmanra :D

What can I say? I am a rebel!

Actually, I have always said I wanted to be the kind of person whose report card said “runs with scissors”, but I am, in fact, a “plays well with others.”

Ehm, I am the same ashmanra. Never had guts to do something bad, but once! :D

The Cuppa Geek advent has small packets, so I have been using about 6 oz for each cup as I like a strong cup in the morning. The berry and lemon flavors are the strongest in this cup, nice and light for a black tea. The lavender comes in as an aftertaste, very subtle. The first steep had a weird metallic note lingering on after I finished the cup. The second steep is weaker, with raspberry dominating and lemongrass in the background. Not my favorite of the advent so far, but an enjoyable cup.
