From Celestial Seasonings

We’ve taken our already lively masala chai blend of Assam black tea and spices, and spiked it with an invigorating burst of real espresso. It’s a bold new take on traditional chai.

Holy cow. Easily my favorite bagged tea, I just wish it was easier to find. Consider adding a splash of rumchata or other spiced liquor ;)

I’m so tempted to get more of this, even if the espresso did make me more anxious than usual, because it was so good with a bit of sweetened creamer. Spicy, creamy, and a little bit sweet this is just fantastic … even for someone who’s not a big fan of chai.

This is chai with coffee, so if you don’t like coffee, you won’t like this. The longer you steep it, the more pronounced the coffee flavor is, so keep it under five minutes. I wouldn’t drink it without milk and sweetener of some kind.

Unpleasantly, alarmingly spicy…not a well balanced chai. It was too bitter. I’ll give this one another shot later with more almond milk. Maybe that will cut the spices down.

This is a tea bag tea: http://www.celestialseasonings.com/products/black/dirty-chai

This is a spicy chai blend with a hint of espresso. On a cool autumn day, the spice really warms things up. I could see this being my go-to tea through the autumn and into the winter.

This is not a loose leaf tea, it’s a Tea concentrate used for lattes. I got the bottled version of this and it greatly satisfied me. I tasted both the black tea and the espresso, with the spices liberally dominating the body. It’s almost like a spicy, pumpkin pie that you decide to have with coffee on the morning after thanks giving. I’m not usually a chai fan, but I like this one more because of the coffee. This is good hot or cold. As for the concentrate, you blend a small amount, whether be a few taplespoons or a quarter of a cup, with your milk of choice.
I’d recommend this more for a substitute to Starbucks bottles if you get any tired of those. Otherwise, it’s a coffee drinkers tea, and a latte coffee drinker at that. Also not something you’d go off for in a thorough taste evaluation.
