I use this when I’m feeling a cold coming on – I swear by echinacea and zinc as cold prevention remedies so this just makes a good addition to the supplements I already take. This is nice when you’re feeling a bit crummy and a hot cup of tea sounds good. I actually find it very similar to the Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer, but perhaps a bit more minty in the aftertaste. I don’t drink this very often because I prefer to have it on hand when I feel like I’m catching a cold.

I can just tell that this tea is full of good stuff. It tastes like Sleepytime tea with echinacea, which is what it is. Just a good tea to have on hand in case anyone starts to feel a cold coming on. I don’t think I’d drink it for pleasure, because it’s a pretty straightforward medicinal herbal blend, but for its intended purpose, I’d give it a gold star.

I love this tea, and so does my 20 year old daughter. I sent it to college with her and she says it was a miracle for her. I have had the same results, that after drinking it at night, my cold or sore throat symptoms are gone by the next morning. I really like the taste, but am upset that I can no longer find it in the stores, or on the Celestrial Seasonings site. I am hoping this is a temporary thing.

I love this tea!! at the first signs of catching a cold, you take this tea, and by the next day your not feeling all that bad and your cold doesn’t last as long. I know, I get few colds in the year. The problem is I can’t find this tea anymore, on its own. You can find it attached to sleepy time, but not on its own. the sleepy time is good but i don’t want to sleep in the day time while at work!!! where is this tea on its own, does any one know??? Thanks

Bought this on a whim when I had a cold a few years back. It has depth in its mintyness from the combination of eucalyptus, peppermint, and menthol extract. Somehow they added 60% DV of vitamin C, and 50% DV of zinc. The tea is… medicinal. The stevia leaves in it add a little sweetness which is slightly off-putting for me, but this is the tea I always reach for when I’m sick, not especially for the taste, but for the blend of medicinal ingredients and the comfort of old habits.

I’ve been drinking cups and cups of this today because I’m fighting a nasty cold. I can’t say it’s making my cold go away faster, but the peppermint and eucalyptus is soothing and as usual the warmth of the tea is making my cough a little easier. Sigh.
