Honeybush is made from the Cyclopia sessiliflora plant from the mountains of the South African Cape. It is very similar to Rooibos in taste and health aspects, yet it is naturally a little more sweet. We took the highest grade Honeybush and blended in vanilla bean pieces and marigold petals to create our naturally caffeine-free Vanilla Bean Honeybush.

This is decent. It takes me back to the days when I was flavoring/blending teas as I had a vanilla honeybush blend back then… although, I think I liked mine better than this. The flavor of the honeybush – naturally sweet, honey-like, with pronounced nutty tones – seems to marry very well with the creamy sweetness of vanilla. This is nice.
Backlogging this from yesterday…not as Vanilla Bean as before – it could have been that I didn’t infuse long enough or my water wasn’t hot enough as I tried another method….so I will keep the rating from my previous attempts. I think I am going to pass this one along as well!

Actually, I’ve found that it needs boiling water for the steeping, but then once it’s in your cup, the best flavor comes through right as it gets to a temperature that your taking true tastes instead of tiny sips.
