Scrumptious! This one is quite strong on the flavoring, but wonderful as an iced oat latte. Getting equals parts sweet-tart raspberry jam and rich, creamy vanilla. It makes me think of a cream puff with crème pâtissière and raspberry sauce. I do notice a bit more bitterness from the matcha than usual for some reason…
Anyway, loved it! Would consider picking some up, though I find their prices painful since I’m used to 3 Leaf… :P

This matcha was really interesting and also quite a bit stronger in flavour intensity than expected. The raspberry is so thick and jammy tasting that, were it not for a strong vanilla custard note, it would almost remind more me of the filling of a jelly donut! I do recommend finishing it off while it’s hot though; I noticed that the cooler my matcha got the more medicinal the berry notes started to taste…

I picked up this chawan from the Montreal Tea Festival. It’s officially my tenth which is definitely a bit excessive, but how do you resist those saturated colours!?

Love the colors in your new matcha bowl! I want a nice one but I’m too indecisive. There are about 20 of them I really like and I can’t decide…basic white porcelain with a nice shape, glass to match all my other glass tea paraphernalia, pretty much all of Eiko Miyaji’s gorgeous floral and leaf designs…and so I’m still using a cereal bowl from the dollar store. I guess the upside is that I probably won’t cry too much if I drop it in the sink and break it.
