Started my morning at the office today with a sort of weirdly prepared iced latte of this tea. I wanted to make my iced latte with 2% since (of what is usually stocked at the office) that’s my milk of choice but weirdly we only seemed to have almond milk and like eight different cartons of 1/2 and 1/2 creamer. Neither exactly what I personally consider “optimal” for iced lattes…
In the end what I did was mix about two thirds almond milk with a third of the creamer for use in my iced latte and, truthfully, it was pretty nice! The creamer added the sweetness and the more fatty texture that I wanted but the nuttier almond milk worked well with the sort of overall ‘malt bomb’ flavour of the black tea powder. It was rich and full bodied and a nice way to jump start this day!
