From Adagio Teas

(Formerly Peachy White)

White Peach tea combines this Southern gem of a fruit with delicate, naturally sweet white tea from the Fujian province in China. Flowery peach-nectar aroma, juicy and very ripe flavor, slightly dry finish (just like peach fuzz!). Enjoy White Peach hot or iced and don’t blame us if you become hooked!

Ingredients: white tea, apricots, natural peach flavor & marigold flowers

Steeping Instructions: Steep at 180° for 3 minutes.

This is weak, even for white tea standards. The flavor isn’t terrible, it’s just a bit too muted for my taste.

I shared this tea with my dad, who loves peach teas, and he said it reminded him of peach rings and that it was his favorite tea that I shared with him on my trip. I’m glad to have his feedback because I would have personally rated this tea as more medium. The peach flavor is pretty authentic and fresh, but I don’t love the base tea. It tasted a little too much like twigs or something. I just don’t love white tea.

It sounds like it might line up a little better with actual white peaches, which, when I can find them, make me do a little fruit happy dance. Firmer, less mushier, lighter than yellow ones.

I like the way this tea smells but it dont really smell peachy to me but just sweet and fruity. It does smell peachy after its made
It tastes really yummy when I put some and ice in it. It was just OK when it was hot
It dont taste as sweet as it smells so I put a few sugar crystals in it and it was very peachy and yummy. I like it

Another single serving sample packet
This one was ok not bad but probably my least favorite thus far. Flavored white teas more often than not just miss the mark for me. This one was quite earthy with a slight peach flavor. I’d drink this again but don’t need to purchase it. I got two steeps out of this one. I prefer the Peach Oolong to this one.

Sipdown!

So I had about two and a half sessions of this left. I decided to make the rest into a whole pot. So I threw it all into the brevelle and off we went.

This one was pleasing. I did get the peach flavor from it, but I don’t recall nearly as much white tea flavor as I would have liked. Basically it was just a mild peach tea. I did use sweetener with it to bring out the peach, as without it, the peach is very bland and not at all the nice nectary flavor I love.

I would probably get this again. It made for a nice cuppa and I’m kinda sad that I used it all up in one go. Recommended.

This is one of my favorite teas. It’s light and refreshing. It’s not overwhelmingly fruity, just has some nice notes.

Delicious peachy tea, with a smooth white tea flavor underneath. I think this tea is very well balanced, and tastes delicious. My only dislike is that it isn’t very strong unless I use a little more than the recommended amount of tea

When you open the bag, the aroma gets you going — and what you smell is what you get. This tea is bursting with summer peach flavor. The apricot mixes well. This is a fantasticly fruity tea.

This is my first white tea, so maybe my real problem is not knowing what to expect. Though not really impressed on my first try, I gave it another whirl today. After three minutes of steeping (my teakettle only seems to hit about 190 max), it was too mild, so I threw the tea back into the pot for another 3 minutes (intended two, but distractions….), which helped.

The peach flavour is, initially mild, in my opinion, and I’m one of those peach-crazy people, so this was disappointing. However, I added a little more honey and that seemed to really bring out the peachiness. Upon the second steep, which lasted closer to ten minutes, there actually seemed to be more peach, so that’s good.

It’s good, especially with the sweetener, but I’m not sure it’s flavourful enough for me even now. It seems I like a punch, something I’ll blame upon my Irish ancestors. Maybe I simply do not understand white teas and need to attend Tea School.

This is a tea I would very much like to sipdown. I’m making some progress with the help of my coworkers. Sharing tea at work has definitely helped me pare down!

It’s a nice peach tea. Definitely light and juicy, but its not my favorite peach tea by any means. I still need to give this one a try iced. Maybe I’ll bring some home to ice this weekend.
