A very kind share from Shae that I have been holding onto. This is the type of flavor profile that I really miss from A Quarter to Tea- sticky sweet honeyed fruits. The almond is reading as maraschino cherry to me, which I’m not mad at. Just a touch of apricot. Definitely something I would purchase if I were able. cries in tea

Sipdown! 25/365

I actually couldn’t tell what the base was here – good thing I accidentally let the water cool more than intended, since it’s a green! Anyhow, this was a pretty pleasant tea, although I would never have guessed apricots or almonds. However, there is a distinct honey note. It’s actually fairly good, especially for a green – the chun mee smokiness likely plays a part there. Anyhow, I’d have to try this again fresh to see if I can pick up on the listed flavours – I particularly enjoy apricot in teas so would have loved to have felt that here! I must have drank the first half of the packet some time ago, and though I don’t really remember what I thought, I likely wasn’t wowed then either.

I feel like this is leaning a bit more towards almond than apricot. The jasmine gives the flavor a bit of sharpness. Definitely an interesting blend.

This is one pretty tea and it is quite aptly named. It has the typical honey flavor of A Quarter to Tea blends but also has a lot of lovely apricot notes and almond that sits on the tip of your tongue.
