Yum yum yum yum yum!

This is incredibly refreshing. I am sipping it hot right now, but I already know that this will be amazing iced too… in fact, I may just be making a batch of it in a bit to put in the fridge for tomorrow’s iced tea sipping. The tartness of the berry is mellowed just slightly by the cool cucumber notes. Sweet, savory, tart … delicious. I like this one a lot!

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

I had considered purchasing this one and you may have just confirmed my suspicions. :-)

LiberTEAS

I am unable to show restraint when it comes to Frank’s teas. I buy with reckless abandon. I can’t help myself. We should have a twelve-step program or something.

Jillian

I envy you – I ordered this one too but god knows when it’ll show up. :D

IllBeMother221B

I don’t think we’d make it much past step one when it comes to Frank’s teas! Which reminds me must ask for a weekly plan from 52 Teas for my birthday! ;)

Southern Boy Teas

How about a 12-steep program instead? 12 steeps a day? At least. =)

ssajami

a 12-steep program sounds much better :) cause let’s be honest, do we really WANT to be rid of our addiction?

Thanks go to iHeartTea for this one, it came from her sell off sale.

This is such a unique combination, I’m not sure that I’ve seen cucumber in tea before, but I sure couldn’t wait to try it. When I first opened the package I was hit with the wonderful smell of strawberries. It just smelled so good it left my mouth watering. I only have a sample of this, and I know it is older, but it still smells very fresh.

I made my first cup of this hot and once steeped you could still smell the strong scent from the strawberries. This instantly made me wonder how this would work as a cold steep and before I sat down to enjoy my cup I took the rest of my sample off to make a pitcher up for later.

This was really yummy and I’m a little sad that I’m already out. I can pick up the barest hint of cucumber hidden amongst the juicy strawberry and the white base. This was really good hot and I can’t wait to try my cold steep tomorrow.

I brewed up a nice big jug of iced tea out of this blend, which this tea is totally suited for, I might add. The white tea base doesn’t hide the fruitiness of the strawberries and the cucumber is a fresh background note (and thankfully not the least bit dill pickle-y). The boyfriend-creature likes it too and he’s not generally a tea fan.

This one is SO good iced.

I have no idea what cucumber in tea taste like, so I’m not sure if what I’m tasting is cucumber-ish. I do know that the white base is delicate and delicious, the strawberry is sweet and aromatic, and there IS something there, toning down the tartness a little. Is that the cucumber?

And the fusion of these flavors makes this tea very yummy!

Winter Salo

What a unique tea… it’d be interesting if you could find another cucumber infused tea to see how cucumber plays differently. I’d imagine it’d be a good afternoon tea with some cucumber sandwiches on the side ;)

ssajami

I doubt there are many cucumber teas to be found. However now you have piqued my interest, and I’m going to see if there are any.

Winter Salo

Let’s know how you go, I’m really interested now! :)

Thank you for including this in the 52Teas samples for your sale, Rachel! I was a bit wary of this one as it is white tea AND cucumber. But this one wasn’t as bad as Adagio’s Cucumber that just tastes like pickles. They should have called it pickle tea. This one is a bit muted with the flavors, but there was a hint of strawberries at the top and a hint of actual cucumber. The white tea is nice, not as terrible as some white teas are for me. This certainly isn’t a tea I would have seeked out. There certainly are a ton of 52Teas strawberry blends though, so I’d rather have the one without cucumber.
