Got this wonderful tea in their walk-in shop, can’t find it online at their web site yet. I asked them for an oolong that has that nice “buttery” flavor. They brought out this variety. Smelling it didn’t provide assurance that it would have that flavoring but the owner assured me it would. I believed him since some teas don’t taste like their aroma in dry leaf form. I tried this last night and was very impressed with the results! It was fantastic! I steeped it twice and didn’t want any more before bed but I felt I could get another steeping so I did a 3rd steeping, wrapped the cup with plastic wrap and refrig’d it. I then heated it this evening in microwave and it was just as wonderful as last night. I got 3 steepings no problem and all were delicious. The leaf is in a tightly rolled ball and unfurls eventually into small to medium sized whole leaves. This is a beautiful tea and worth the $8/oz. I paid.

This afternoon’s after lunch tea is this hearty tippy assam with a nice malty flavor. Steeped 2 min. to help prevent bitterness.

This is a nice malty flavored tea and I enjoy it without milk. Made for a nice evening tea.

This is one of my all time favorites. This tippy Yunnan black tea has a wonderful flavor, not quite as strong as Emporer’s Gold from Tao of Tea but has plenty of good strong flavor. If you like Yunnan tea this is an excellent representative of tea from that region.

I wonderful 2nd flush darjeeling with the nice muscatel flavor. Enjoyed it this morning… late on the report.

Tried this tea from GM and found it to be wonderful. It has larger twisted leaf than most Assams and has a good mix of beautiful golden tippy leaves. The flavor is smooth but nice and strong with a delicious maltiness to it. I will be back for more.

My first taste of this tea… It is fantastic! Based on a tea between a green and oolong tea, the pouchong tea is oxidized only 10-20%. The infusion of coconut flavoring results in a really nicely balanced blend that is mildly sweet and quite refreshing! I will have to order up a canister of this tea.

This is an excellent Golden Monkey! Grown near the Tai Mu mountains of Fujian province, China,it is also known as ‘Panyong Wang’, the king of high grade black teas.

The leaves of this tea are a beautiful small twisted leaf. A 2nd flush full leaf, this provides a nice malty flavor… which I like about Assams. Steeped at 208 degrees for 2 minutes to avoid the astringency. Mmmm.
