10 Tasting Notes
I received this as a sample in my SipsBy box. This was one of my most favorite teas I’ve received so far! I drank it as iced and it was SO good. The blueberries made it a beautiful color and the flavor with the basil was so refreshing! I have enough left to try it hot as well but I REALLY enjoyed this one!
Flavors: Blueberry
Preparation
I recieved this in my Sipsby box (can’t remember what month). I really like this one. As others have mentioned in reviews, it’s a light jasmine tea. Very smooth in flavor. Does not need long steeping (true to green tea). I would buy again!
Flavors: Jasmine
Received this in my October SipsBy box. It’s very light in flavor but a nice Oolong. It smells very earthy in the bag. I don’t think I would seek this one out to buy but I enjoyed the few cups I got out of this sample. As I’m sampling new teas I’m learning what I like and don’t like. Not sure if Oolong is my jive but I will certainly try more.
Preparation
Received as a sample in my most recent David’s Tea order. This one is ok. It’s a little bland, but has a nice chai spice to it. I like the slight sweetness it has, I’m assuming from the candied bits in it. Very light pumpkin flavor as well. If you like pumpkin spice I would definitely try but you could skip if not!
Flavors: Caramel, Pumpkin, Spices, Sweet
Preparation
Got this as part of a wellness tea sampler from David’s and it’s another so-so for me. I made it in my David’s tea press. I think it’s the lemongrass I don’t care for. I have trouble with that flavor in food, so it makes sense I wouldn’t like it in a tea either. I would not buy this again, although I will muscle my way through the rest of the bag.
Flavors: Lemongrass
Preparation
I’m getting used to this one, although I feel it’s very weak. I’ve been brewing in tea bags though, so I want to try in my tea press. The ginger is nice and so is the gojo berries. It smells amazing in the package. Need to keep trying!
Flavors: Fruity, Ginger, Honey
Preparation
Really enjoyed this tea. It smells wonderful and tastes like chocolatey-coffee-spicy goodness! I added a tiny bit of honey, but it had a light sweetness on it’s own. Really nice fall/colder weather tea.
Flavors: Chocolate, Spicy
