Blended 9 teaspoons of this plus two bags of Celestial Seasonings Raspberry Zinger. Made 2 quarts of delicious chilled raspberry tea. I will definitely do this again. I bet this kind of English Breakfast blends well with lots of different flavors.

This tea is all kinds of weird. The ingredients are basically everything that’s good for a sore throat, but the end result tastes a lot like the way Vick’s Vapo-Rub smells. I guess that’s the eucalyptus in it? It has a strangely sweet aftertaste as well, which is probably from the ground licorice. If they ditched the cinnamon, this would taste exactly like absinthe. I added a teaspoon of honey. That improved it a bit, but I still didn’t finish my cup.

Very standard, but good. I find that brewing it with a little more than a teaspoon makes it more flavorful, but not bitter. Right now I’ve got a hot cup of it, sweetened with three packs of Sugar In The Raw because that’s how we do it in the deep south, dammit! Actually, I think it’s probably just a bad habit of mine. Anyway, I like this tea a lot. It would be good to keep around for everyday pots.

I used to drink this tea while I read in middle school. I went through two boxes, I think, back to back, and loved it. It brews up red and tastes a little sour, but mostly like berries. I don’t know if it’s just me, but it seems to have a little bit of a lemony taste, too. It’s nice.

Yep, I was right. This is good with a big glob of honey. I steeped it a little longer since the description practically encourages it. Seven minutes instead of five. It got stronger, yeah, but not bitter. This might taste a little bit too much like wood for me, though. I’m still curious to try Yunnan Gold and Yunnan Noir despite this.

What’s this? A rooibos I can stand?? Sorry, had to get that out. This is a very mellow, lightly spiced tea. It still has a bit of that rooibos aftertaste that I don’t really like, but it somehow goes well with the apple, cinnamon, and chamomile flavor. The taste reminds me of real apple cider, just not as strong and sour.

Very… dark tasting tea. Earthy and definitely smoky. Something about it reminds me of a river in the woods. I brewed it at boiling point for four minutes. Sweetened it with 2 Splenda packets. Next time, I’m going with honey. This is probably amazing with honey. Also, this is my first yunnan.

Nothing like a good Yunnan. See how you like Adagio’s other Yunnans. (I haven’t tried them myself.) And also try Rishi’s Organic Golden Yunnan. It’s really good and wild harvested from tea trees that are hundreds of years old. Had a cup after lunch today, in fact.

Another cup of this first thing in the afternoon after sleeping in. Since it’s gotten so cold out, I’ve really been craving hot tea, and this was perfect. Two teaspoons of sugar in an mug from the 70’s. Like a pot of slightly murky amber. :)

Backlogging from a few months ago. I love the smell of this tea, but it’s not a favorite. It’s an interesting tea, though. Like sort of a green tea/oolong hybrid.

Another pot of this to wake me up a little on this damp, cool day. Steeped for 5 minutes at a rolling boil. A little sugar added, as usual. There’s something oddly comforting about this tea that I can’t put my finger on.
