1 Tasting Note

90

I keep coming back to this tea, as it is a complex set of tasty flavours, and different from what I’m used to in a black tea. There is a hint of roasted/smokiness in the earlier brews, that gives way for a sweeter, raisin type flavour that reminds me a bit of a Tokay or a Muscat. Very good value for the price.

Bio

I started my love of tea from an early age, as my parents and grandparents all drank strong black tea. Around 10 years ago I was gifted my first premium tea, a long jing, followed by an aged pu’er tea cake. This sparked my journey on discovering more about the depths of tea and tea culture.

I grew up in Australia, before living in Sweden for six years, and now in Switzerland.

I’m starting a YouTube channel, Stray Leaves, to document my tastings and my continued journey of tea appreciation.
