Oh yum, lots of guava flavor! Lately all I want to drink is black tea with some milk & a tiny bit of rock sugar. Maybe its the cold weather but I just haven’t felt like having any green tea.

However, this mix of green and black is quite enjoyable. I’ve never tried such a mix before, but I’m impressed. As far as the fruit flavors go, they taste kind of clean & bright and are not overly sweet or artificial. The guava flavor is a bit more present that the strawberry. I haven’t had anything guava-flavored in a while so this was a pleasant surprise. I could drink this daily, with no sweetener or anything added.

I only had the one bag to sample, so I steeped it for just a couple of minutes and sipped a bit tonight. Tomorrow, I shall have the rest, iced! I bet the fruit flavors will be even more pronounced and wonderful then!

I don’t like hibiscus or roobios much so I didn’t really care for this one. I’ll try it iced tomorrow & that might bring the rating up a bit. I never did taste the vanilla, though I could just barely smell it.

I cold brewed this (and will probably add more tea next time) but it is quite tasty. I’ve never had “holy basil” in anything before, so its hard for me to describe the taste. I’ll just say that this is very refreshing :)

Mmm. I finally got this in the mail last night. It isn’t quite as good as I had remembered but still quite tasty. I think I’ll brew it a bit stronger next time. I did the 1 tsp per 6oz & it seemed a little weak.

After reading some reviews here, I agree, the strawberry does taste a bit artificial. But not terribly so. I know this is supposed to be a pu-erh & I’m thinking most people don’t add milk to their pu-erhs but milk and a little rock sugar goes so well with this tea. I’m thinking this probably isn’t a very great pu-erh in the first place though, so I’m deeming milk to be okay!

This tastes kind of malty & sweet. It smells spectacular & is very comforting to drink.

The first several times I made this it disappointed me. I just kept thinking it was too weak. I later realized that I needed more than 1 teabag in my giant mug (since it calls for 1 teabag per 6oz of water) Oops. Adding a second one greatly improved things.

I wanted to love this one. I mean, peppermint & chocolate? What’s not to love? It is a pleasant enough tea but I think I expected more chocolate flavor. Also, I’m not a huge fan of roobios. Milk & a tiny bit of rock sugar do improve it I think. Right now it is one of my best decaf options for sipping on whilst reading in bed. However, I probably won’t purchase it again anytime soon.

Edit: I cold-brewed this & am trying it that way this morning. It is even mintier this way & pretty refreshing. I poured a bit in another cup & added some vanilla almond milk because I was curious. It did nothing for it.. Since the chocolate flavor is even less pronounced when this tea is cold, you just end up with weaker peppermint flavor (though there is some chocolate in the aftertaste).

One thing to be aware of: This team gets kind of slimy. I didn’t notice it when it was hot (though it might have been the case then too). But when I removed the tea bags from the cold tea, lots of slimy residue. Ick.

I haven’t had this one in forever but cold-brewed some last night. This is so refreshing cold! I didn’t add sugar, but a bit of sugar would be nice. It doesn’t need it though. This would probably be a good tea for when you’re trying to limit calories but want something tasty to drink.

I think I prefer it cold because I can taste more of the coconut & it definitely seems more tropical this way! Now if the weather would just warm up, I might be able to imagine relaxing on a beach or something awesome like that. I am almost out of this one. It is definitely a re-stock, but maybe I’ll wait until it is a little warmer, as I prefer this one iced.

Hmm. When I think of chai, I think of chai with a black tea base. To me, this doesn’t really make me think of chai but of hot, sugary cinnamon water with a hint of pepper and maybe a slight aftertaste of some fruitiness (perhaps the pineapple). I don’t really taste the tea or much else for that matter.

That being said, I really like hot & sugary cinnamon water.

Pro’s:
—Tastes like red hots, yum!
—No worries about steeping time: I just leave a bag of this in my cup and let it continue steeping until I’m done drinking. No bitterness ensues.
—All the spiciness really helps clear my head in the morning!

Con’s:
—I don’t taste tea so I keep thinking this is just herbal and I’m tempted to drink it any old time. In fact, it tastes so good, of course I want to drink it at night, in bed, with a good book. This may lead to insomnia. We’ll see.

There are probably other good cinnamon teas or tisanes out there, but this one is mighty tasty so I’ll probably restock. I wonder what this is like cold brewed or iced. I will have to try that soon.
