4 Tasting Notes
I’m setting up my new computer and sipping tea and thinking about how people’s tastes change. I’ve been on a Windows based PC for over ten years. I learned typing on Mario Teaches Typing when I was six years old and I played my first games in DOS. And yet here I am with a brand new Mac computer, something I never thought I’d do, sipping a tea I once frowned at after swallowing.
I used to be a water only person, but my husband is half Irish and half English so tea comes with the territory. It’s been a long road (several years) for the conversion to take place, but I can now say I love tea and I am looking forward to the new flavors and experiences that will come along with it. I remember several years ago trying this tea for the first time, loving the smell, but being unable to finish it after the first sip. I just finished my first cup while writing this note. I wonder where I’ll be next year, and just where my tastebuds will take me.
Preparation
My mother gifted us this fantastic seasonal tea that my husband and I absolutely love. We’re really disappointed that we can’t seem to find any inside Canada, but we’ll probably end up ordering some along with some of their other seasonal teas. The reason this gets such a high rating is because it’s NOT an herbal tea- it’s a mix between black and green, it’s dairy-free, good without any sugar or other additions, and that makes it plain awesome.
