104 Tasting Notes
I sampled this tea as DAVIDsTEA Advent Calendar 2021 – Day 7. It is a very nice green tea, better than the previous sencha teas that I have tried. There is a slightly bitter aftertaste, otherwise perfection grassy herbs and vegetables. I accidentally spilled it all over my office kitchen. I like it enough to try to salvage the leaves from the counter!
Flavors: Grass, Herbaceous, Vegetal
Preparation
I tried this as part of DAVIDsTEA Advent Calendar 2021 – Day 4. The stevia made it too sweet but otherwise good with strong orange oil and rich flavors. The second and third steeping we actually a little better. I would have gone for a fourth but dropped the sachet on the floor, oops.
Flavors: Citrus, Sweet
Preparation
I tasted this as part of the DAVIDsTEA Advent Calendar 2021 – Day 5. I lost track of the time and oversteeped. Even so, I enjoyed the Oolong with cooked berry flavor. I don’t care for stevia so it was good but not great.
Flavors: Fruity, Jam, Sweet
Preparation
I was pleased with this fantastic find on a vacation. I bought a small, sample size to try since it is expensive. I will think about trying it iced if I have enough. A very soothing and comforting tea.
Flavors: Lavender, Lemon
Preparation
I had Peach Tranquility years ago and love it. I found sachets recently at the grocery store. This version tasted slightly off, like the peaches were on the cusp of going rotten. The other flavors were nice but overall a disappointing experience.
Flavors: Fruity
