Cold Brew.
A little too heavy of the kiwi and candy-like in taste to really be enjoyable this time around though. I don’t know; I’ve not had massive success with this herbal as of late; I want to just finish it off and be over with it, but at the same time I don’t want to force myself into a lot of “bleh” tasting brews in close succession…
Unrelated; but about two hours after my really weird experience this afternoon with Dan and his generous gift of ‘gently used’ grocery items I had another strange experience with someone coming to my door. If you’re confused about who Dan is, then you need to go read my review of Adagio’s Jasmine Silver Needle ‘cause you’re missing out on a pretty weird story.
But anyway; I was downstairs putting some stuff away when I hear the doorbell go off like six times right after one another – so I shouted back very loudly “Just hold on, I’m coming!” and ran upstairs to go see what was going on. Apparently, when I answered the door for Dan I must have forgot to lock it ‘cause I came upstairs, and turned out of the kitchen to see this GIANT FUCKING MAN standing in the middle of my living room. Like, this dude that I’ve definitely never met. I was actually kind of fucking terrified.
He just kind of gruffly went “Phone?” to which I responded “What?”
“Do you have a phone I can use? I need to call a taxi!”
“Uh, yeah… sure man?” and handed over my phone. I wasn’t gonna argue with the complete stranger who was easily a foot and a half taller than me and who looked like he could pick me up without even breaking a sweat (and I am not a tiny person). He called his taxi, and then just left. And I promptly locked the door. But holy shit who fucking does that!? I can’t even imagine having the nerve to just walk into a total strangers house like that! Jesus!!!
Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts regarding the teas, and not the company’s.
