This wasn’t a very indulgent experience for me; it tasted like an average white tea with some coconut essence and left a slightly bitter aftertaste. I would rather have a good quality white tea with nothing added.

I tried a second cup with some milk added (even though I usually don’t add milk to white tea). This helped with the bitter aftertaste but overall it was like drinking weak coconut-flavoured tea.

Bio

A tea heathen currently working through the T2 range and any other teas unfortunate enough to land in my path.

Fond of:
- black teas
- rooibos with milk (but not straight)
- teas with dessert names and connotations
- green teas, especially with popped rice
- white teas
- pu er teas from third steeping onwards

On the fence about:
- herbal teas
- chai ( I want to like these but find the cardamom overpowering)
- oolong teas

Not convinced about:
- fruit teas
- teas with coconut flavouring
