7 Tasting Notes

Best blend from the Perfect Match collection! Hot or iced it is breakfast heaven! I love it a little sweeter than most teas and with a little milk because it is a dessert tea. Neither overpowers the other like I have found in other tea blends, but you can taste them individually. Even without that “cake” part of the mix, these teas blend harmoniously together forming the perfect breakfast or dessert tea!

This is my all-time favorite tea blend! Maharaja/Samurai Chai has nothing on this! I honestly didn’t steep it for myself until a month ago. I had gotten at least 20 iced cups from my local store, but then I decided to get a couple ounces and try my hand at making it at home. Making it with an even more particular preference resulted in it being 20x better than in store! Don’t get me wrong, I still like it in store, but once I run out I’ll probably get more of this tea and even a cup to go!

This tastes exactly like my Romanian grandmother’s (Buna’s) baklava that she made me a few times. I love love love the notes of nuttiness and baked bread. It is amazing how I can taste the cardamom and the cinnamon as well as the floral notes that are present. I do not believe it needs any sweetener but to each their own. I bought a half pound of this and am tempted to buy another half pound to have a whole pound e-e

I tried it both warm and iced. It smells amazing like having a summery treat. The taste is great, but it’s just not for me. I enjoy creamier and spicier teas as opposed to fruity teas especially citrus teas, as I had a bad experience with lemons and limes this past summer. So drinking it was tough, but I was willing to give it a chance. I did, however, enjoy the creamy taste and the smooth mouth-feel warm. I also enjoyed it iced, more than warm, in fact, and I enjoy having a warm tea more than most iced teas so that was a surprise to me. You definitely get more of the creamy gelato and a smoother less harsh lime when it is iced and i thoroughly enjoyed it, but I dont know if I would order it, at least not in this season. Maybe this will make it into my next summer’s rotation.

After the disappointment that was David’s Tea Cream of Earl Grey (organic) I was quite hesitant to taste this… But I am so glad I did and that I didn’t pass it along in fear! I enjoy this almost any way! But I don’t think I’ll be trying it iced. cx But with Almond milk it gives it a nuttier vibe almost like a sweet bun, regular low-fat milk just brings out the sweetness enough for it to taste like you’re drinking warm liquid snickerdoodles, and alone it is just fantastic especially when you over steep it because the brittle pieces just enhance the cookie flavor so much! Love love love! Going to get all I can before it is gone for good! ;P

Man, I chugged down that Snickerdoodle Latte I made! I’ll be receiving 100g of it this Saturday, but I am so impatient… I’ll have to savor the last tsp or 2 of it… sigh Tea just can’t get here fast enough! cx

I was so excited for this tea because I had only heard amazing reviews! But I obviously had heard wrong! Or it was a bad batch with WAAAAY too much vanilla flavoring! I used as much as directed in a latte and it was way to artificial tasting! And for a Naturally flavored Organic tea. I was appalled! I will try it one more time with the shortest steep time and perhaps less tea before I pass this one along because I really wanted to like it!
