16 Tasting Notes
I’m normally not a fan of herbal teas, but it seems as I’ve grown older, I have learned to appreciate their subtle flavor. But I didn’t get this tea for its flavor, I got this tea for what it claimed to do and even when I was drinking at least one cup of day, I can’t say that my skin got gorgeous. In fact, I often wondered if it has the opposite effect on my skin. Even though it’s been months since having a cup, I still occasionally crave this tea, I like it’s somewhat flowery fruity taste and I was thinking today how good it would taste infused in some lemonade as it already is great iced. I just wish my skin liked it as much as I do.
Preparation
I’m disappointed that Celestial Seasonings has gotten rid of this adorable box. It’s gone through several name changes, but I guess it’s sticking around under Echinacea Complete Care with a different look.
Not only is this my go-to cold care tea, but I swear that adorable koala helps with the healing process. Maybe that’s just me though. It is really soothing, clears sinuses and is wonderfully effective at stopping my cold before it even starts. I reach for this if I feel like I’m getting something.
This definitely seems to make my teas extra creamy. I normally add flavored coffee creamer to my teas (probably much to the dismay of many tea lovers), but I don’t think they cover up the flavors of the tea itself. This is definitely a different taste than the creamer, because I have tried this with just milk itself.
This is probably my most favorite tea of all time. I’ve been drinking it since I was four years old! That’s over 20 years! My favorite way to drink this tea is with milk and honey. It does have a strange smell, but it’s one that I like and have grown to know and it doesn’t smell anything like it tastes. This is probably the only herbal tea that I drink regularly. This is herbal tea for people that generally like black teas.
