The selection of Chinese teas was incredible. Unfortunately, all signage was in Chinese and the sales associates spoke only broken English at best. There were quite a few pre-packaged teas but they also have loose-leaf in bulk available behind the counter. Their selection of tea paraphernalia was also good.
This location of WhiteAugust is much smaller than their store in Sedona. This is more of an annex or secondary outlet. You can still get most of their teas in this shop; it’s just a little cramped.
You can also have tea prepared for you and they have a few tables inside to sit and enjoy your drink. However, this is in a small storefront right on the entrance ramp to the freeway. They had one or two tables outside, but using those wouldn’t be very relaxing.
This small shop has a great selection of superior quality product. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and willing to take the time to help you make your selection.
While they do have a small cafe setting, they are located in an older “strip-mall” in a declining part of town. What they lack in ambience, however, they make up for in great product and service.
