You defintly get the ginger coming through also a little peppery. It is okay but it is mighty bold for a tea. First time Tea drinkers might be put off by this But I think t is a good tea to have once in a while

I had the 100% Pure Oolong tea and there are not enough words to describe hoe much I love this tea after it steeps it has a nice gold color to it. I will drin it on a regular basis

I love how you pick up the taste of GingerI also like the low key flavor of the pear you pick up as a flavor note after finishing your cup
