6 Tasting Notes
Lune Rouge (Red Moon) is a delicate tea with a twist of wildness. I am not a huge fan of honey and I was happily surprised by the subtile mix they made at Mariage Freres. This tea was a great discovery during my lazy summertime. Made a review on it on my blog (in French):http://www.monarmoireathe.com/2014/08/degustation-the-vert-tendre-lune-rouge-mariage-freres.html
Flavors: Floral, Ginger, Honey, Rose
Was lucky enough to discover this tea while studying Oolong at the Ecole du Thé (Tea School) in Paris. Dong Ding Tea is therefore kind of special to me. This tea is at the same time subtile and strong. I really love it and I wrote a review on it on my tea blog: http://www.monarmoireathe.com/2014/06/le-charme-discret-du-oolong-the-dong-ding-palais-des-thes.html
Flavors: Freshly Cut Grass, Vanilla, Wood
This is a very hype and trendy tea in France. Not so sure what I was expecting from it. But I have been seduced by the sweet grapefruit flavor. Good balance between bitterness and sweetness. A good ice tea option, too. Definitely worth it. Wrote a review in French) on it : http://www.monarmoireathe.com/2014/04/bien-etre-degustation-bb-detox-kusmi-tea.html
Preparation
Very elegant organic herbal tea. Blend of white and green teas and green rooibos leads to an herbal tea overpacked with antioxydants. Hence the name “Natural Beauty”.
Very tasty and easy to drink. Fruity but sweet taste is not overwhelming. Was not a huge fan of Lov Organic (sister company of Kusmi Tea) before but now I became a LovOrganic-addict! Try it you’ll love it :-)
Flavors: Apricot
Preparation
A light and flavoured green tea which is one of my favorites! Easy to drink it may also be appreciated by tea haters! One of Mariage Freres best selling reference.
J’ai récemment fait un post sur mon site à ce sujet http://www.monarmoireathe.com/2014/01/test-the-vert-parfume-sakura2000-mariagefreres.html
