I finally cracked how to brew Sencha right, so I thought it was time to try Gyokuro. I like it, but it’s as different from Chinese greens as you can get. Good though, really good.

Flavors: Melon, Peas, Sweet, Thick, Umami

Preparation
155 °F / 68 °C 1 min, 0 sec 8 g 3 OZ / 100 ML

Brewing
I brew gongfu style – lotsa tea, brief brew, then into a sharing cup. It really changed tea for me after not quite “getting it” from western style brewing.
