I have three of these now, and I don’t know when I’ll stop! I got two of the Breton Octopus motif from the 2014 Spring Collection (thanks to a friend who found them when they were on sale and had vanished from almost all stores and I suddenly decided I couldn’t live without them – oops!), and one of the Multi Raccoon from the Fall 2014 Collection. I’m about to swap out the Octopus at work for the Raccoon, since autumn is nearly upon us, so I imagine I’ll likely have one for each season. I wasn’t taken with any of the Summer 2014 Nordics, so perhaps next year. Eager to see what comes out for winter/Christmas!

Tea-wise, this is a giant mug of tea! It’s thick-walled, so it keeps a nice temperature for a decent amount of time (I’m kind of a delicate flower (hah!), so I don’t drink mine while it’s scalding hot…ymmv). I love having the infuser nestled in under the lid, and having a resting spot for it on the lid after steeping is great when you’re at work and not keen on making constant trips back and forth to the kitchen.

Bio

I live in Toronto, Canada, land of the fiercely intense, but short, summer, and absurdly long, equally fierce, cold autumn/winter/spring. Tea, coffee, soup, stew, chilli, mulled wine, and hot cider are staples here for a good part of the year.

Currently, I’m really digging plain black tea, chocolate and caramel accented black teas, and chais. I’m not into super grassy teas, but I like a good, smoky jasmine green. I’m told I should try some lapsang and pu’erh, which I intend to do, but I’m hella lazy. One of these days!

I live with one (very loud) Siamese cat, one (floppy-eared and goofy) Doberman Pinscher, and one (somewhat introverted and stoic) man who indulges me shamelessly. I’m pretty lucky. :)
