59 Tasting Notes
Picked this out of the cabinet at work. It smelled good, but the taste isn’t all that great. I read the package and it says the ingredients are all natural. Black tea, hibiscus, and raspberries. However, it tastes a bit strange. I get an aftertaste of raspberry, but that’s about it. I do kind of like the smell, but I would not have this again.
Not my favorite black or my favorite Rishi, but a decent cup a tea. It’s a pretty complex flavor for black tea. The flavor is somewhere between nutty and smokey. I think. It’s a bit hard to describe. I always drink this with a slice of lemon because it tastes like it needs something.
Preparation
There are a few flavors that I really dislike and pineapple is one of them. But I was possessed the day I bought this. Turned out I actually kind of liked it. I can drink it when I’m in the right mood. The pineapple somehow melds really well with the other flavors. Not sure what other flavors are in there though. Mango? Orange?
This is one of my favorite black teas. I know a black tea is exceptionally good when I don’t even want to put lemon in it and I love the lemon/black tea taste so much.
The word that comes to mind for this tea is crisp. It’s refreshing and bright.
