7 Tasting Notes
The smell got me all excited to try this! As I was preparing this for brewing, I can’t wait till it finished. The aroma it has is heavenly! Truly Buddha’s Blend! (You see what I did there?) Anyway, all those excitement jumped from high to almost none at all—real quick! It is very bitter. The smell also subsided after the brewing. I rate 60 but the 50 is for the smell and 10 for the very little nice flowery taste.
I like peppermint tea so this is awesome. There is also cardamom which is a spice with a very distinct taste that I like. It says green tea, but unfortunately I did not really taste any of that. I was drinking this while working. I got busy and the tea started to cool down. Now, this started tasting sweeter, I think because of the sweetness of licorice. The sugar probably settled in the bottom. Another thing is it started making my throat itch. Why? I have no idea. Weird. I really like this tea, but I recommend you drink it while it’s still very hot.
I am not a fan of chocolate because it is too sweet for me, so this tea is perfect! I like how it is a tea and it is not even sweet, yet it can satisfy me when I feel like want to have a chocolate without all those sugars that comes with it. Will definitely buy more of this!
I’ve tried different kinds of Jasmine Green Tea and this is one of the best. The taste of the jasmine is a bit strong but not as strong as the other Jasmine Green Tea I’ve tried. I like how even though it’s a bit strong, I can still taste the green tea with it. I am just not a fan of flowery tea as it messed up with my sense of taste and smell. Overall, not a kind of tea I will keep in my cupboard but can’t say No if offered.
