7 Tasting Notes
It was better then I expected. The strong taste of green tea was softened by the taste of herbs. I overbrewed it a little bit and I thought that it will taste like veeery strong green tea. No, fortunately and surprisingly it was very pleasant. I liked it overall.
Terrible experience and money spent for nothing. I don’t enjoy this tea at all. And I mean it. At all. Not sure what I will do with the rest of my 50 g. supply…
The color is good. It smelled the most fruity from all their pu’erh teas so I decided to take chances. Didn’t worth it. It is basically tasteless and on top has this disgusting film from white chocolate that is part of the blend. I will never buy another blend with chocolate in it!
David’s has some pretty great teas with chocolate…this tea in particular is just spectacularly awful.
Could you pls recommend one? I see you are fan of David’s… :-) I truly was trying to avoid chocolate teas lately, although they smell sooo attractive!
Well, Read my Lips is alright hot, but as a cold-steeped iced tea it is fantastic. And for hot tea, Stormy Night, Ceylon Star, and Chocolate Rocket are all pretty great. Red Velvet Cake is alright but it’s definitely not an “everyday” tea.
Oh, and as far as fruity Pu’erhs, if that’s what you were looking for with this, I would highly recommend Berry Good.
Supposed to be good for your waist line… I’m not sure about this one. Yes, it is fruity, yes, it has some color (light pink in my case), but more like herbal tea…. I think what I don’t like is the taste of hibiscus (it does have it, doesn’t it?) and I’m not a big fan of it. Definitely not my favorite.
