96 Tasting Notes
Brewed in a big teapot : 0,7cl.
I also tried in gong fu cha – same result …
Usually I’m not into the Bio things, but what I read in the shop made me want to try it. Well at this price, there are far better teas than this one. The taste and the leaves looks more like red tea than oolong. There’s also an earthy taste to it, a bit pu-erh like (not a good old one though).
I would only recommend trying this one if you’re into red teas (more than flowery, fruity oolong).
Preparation
Lowest price oolong from le palais des thes, why not …
First look, leaves are in pieces, smell isn’t really good.
They say to know a tea try it in a zhong.
All right, the scent bowl is … awfully bad, so is the taste : kids don’t try this at home !
First brew : 30’, second brew : 45’. Both very bad.
Well, at this price, I didn’t expect anything special, no surprise there.
I will try in a big teapot, for the low prices of le palais des thes I think this is the way to go.
Preparation
One of the worst jasmine tea I ever drink.
I even wondered if there is really some jasmine in it…
Preparation
I felt like the tea is a delicious jasmine. Its nothing special, but its a delightful basic cup for someone who’s in the mood for something floral.
To be honest, I got nothing floral in it, just a bit of bitter at the beginning, and just plain flavor after that. Afterwards I have this slight sweetness, but nothing much I am talking about really faint. I have just gotten into tea, and I really hope that lighter teas like silver needle won’t be this faint and plain in flavor.
hrmpf :-/
Well, I tried some teabags which can’t be compared with a real tea but have a nice taste. Besides, sometime, you don’t have the choice and must go with teabags (during holidays for example :). So, yeah I find it useful to rate this. It’s like saying : yeah ok, it’s not “real” tea, but it doesn’t have to taste bad.
