Brewed in a big teapot – 5 mn/90°C. I find it ok for a tea at this price.
Very spicy with a slight anise taste. I’m used to drink it at work.

Brewed in a big teapot. I found the ginger too strongly present, and the green base was so-so. Could be ok for an everyday tea though.

Brewed in a small teapot (20cl) : 30s – 45s – 60s – 1’00 – 1’30.
Good tea, not awesome as I expected :)

The scent of the leaves is heavily roasted and I think this taste should be very present if overbrewed.

The after taste is fruity and woody/roasted, very strong and stay in the mouth for a long time. It tastes like peach in my opinion.

Good tea, a little overpriced I think.

Brewed in a big teapot. 90°C.
The main taste comes from the black tea base, which I don’t really like.

When trying it the first time, 4 months ago, I found this tea had a taste of tomato and pretty nothing more to it.
I don’t know what happened with it but the taste has greatly improved, even the scent of dry leaves has changed.
Brewed in a small teapot (20cl) – 90°C : 30s – 45s – 1’00 – 2’00.
Excellent tea, taste of ripe fruits and little woody. Usually I don’t like red tea but this one is excellent.

Did the first batch maybe get contaminated with something?

Actually, it is the same batch, I just let it stay in a box for 4 months :)

Best rooibos I’ve ever tasted, very easy to brew. A taste of vanilla and almond.
The tea is oily and smooth.
Very good.

I read an article not that long ago that featured Le Palais des Thes. All this gourmet French tea you log makes me want to try some, but this one in particular sounds divine.

If you want to try french teas I definitely recommand you Le Palais des Thes. I find their teas are cheaper and better than those from the most reknown Mariage and Damman.

Brewed in a small teapot (20cl) at 90°C : 30 – 35 – 45 – 1’00.
I tried to reduce the time of the first two infusions to lessen the roast taste and increase the fruity taste. It works but the roasted taste remains.
