I love Chai. I love Vanilla. Put them together? OK!!
I’ve never had this one before and from dry leaf it smelt promising. I brought it with me to school today after happily opening my advent calendar flap. Oversteeping might have had something to do with my experience with this tea but even then so it wasn’t as great tasting. There was Chai, and there was Vanilla. There was also a really strong licorice scent to it and I’m not a fan of licorice so that must have also factored into this test.

One of my classmates described it the best because he said it smelt like cough syrup.

Flavors: Licorice, Vanilla

Preparation
165 °F / 73 °C 6 min, 0 sec 3 tsp 17 OZ / 500 ML

A casual tea consumer that typically enjoys plain teas (sencha/genmaicha green tea is a daily must have) and the occasional chai and london fogs but is willing to discover new flavors.

All thanks to DAVIDsTEA, I’ve rediscovered how fun tea consumption can be! So now I’m using Steepster as my own personal tea diary.

I usually try flavored teas straight first and then in a soy/almond latte with a tiny bit of sweetener (agave or honey). If it’s a fruit type tea, then after the initial straight taste test, I’d do it iced with a bit of sweetener.

My Aerolatte is my favorite tea tool. It’s cow printed too!
