semi-sipdown

I finished my first 2oz bag of this (I have a few others stowed away from the last Heavenly sale). I really quite like this! As I said in my initial tasting note, Peppermint Mocha drinks from Starbucks are my favorite treat during the holidays (though I do get them “skinny”). This similar, just sans espresso. I manage to get 2 steeps out of this by adding a generous scoop of cacao nips during my 2nd steep and I also over"leaf" it due to the bits of white chocolate and other meltables. I’d say about 3 tsp in my 16oz mug for 10 minutes in boiling water. That and a dash of sweetener and I am in for a very tasty treat indeed.

Preparation
Boiling 8 min or more 3 tsp 16 OZ / 473 ML

I recently discovered loose leaf tea and am already addicted (much to my husband’s dismay)! I prefer fruity teas iced and savory teas hot. Looking forward to drinking and chatting.

Some likes/dislikes I’ve been noticing:

Likes:
Pineapple
Jasmine
Fruity White Teas
lighters Blacks
Most Oolongs (especially greener varieties)
dessert teas
tisanes iced that don’t require added sweetener

Dislikes:
Spicy flavors unless in chai
astringent black teas
heavy ginger teas
teas with licorice (as primary ingredients – somehow I like some where the licorice is in the back drop)
heavily oxidized oolongs

For my own reference, I’m only placing “full size” teas in my cupboard.
