drank Decaf Raspberry by Adagio Teas

Did a 3 minute steep time and added just a little agave. Got a very nice cup. Agave helped to bring out the sweetness of the raspberry and cut down on the cardboard decaf taste that can sometimes come through. Very nice nighttime treat.

Went to the International Market here in town and they had this in a pyramid tea bag!! I nearly jumped for joy. Am now enjoying this at work and loving it.

Have you had any other Genmaicha’s that weren’t in a pyramid bag? If so how does this one compare?

I have had several Genmaicha’s in loose leaf form (including this one) and I’m actually quite impressed at the depth of flavor that comes from the Den’s pyramid bag. Almost wouldn’t know it was from a bag. Though for some odd reason I taste more of a sushi/seaweed flavor from the tea bag than the loose leaf.

Found this tea bag in the teacher’s lounge with other tea bags that are provided for us. My own work tea collection is in my classroom so I rarely need to get tea elsewhere but I was feeling adventurous.

Steeped for 3 minutes, smells like an instant Chai mix. Taste isn’t too bad, not high quality but it is flavorful. May have to get out of my tea corner more often just for fun.

drank Strawberry by Adagio Teas

Got distracted helping a student and way oversteeped this. Nothing makes me more sad than bitter tea.

Savory, toasty, sweet, relaxing, wonderful. I will say it again, I adore this tea.

Golden Moon is hit or miss for me, though I’ve only had a few kinds so who am I to judge!

Smooth, medium body, ever so slightly smokey. No bitterness what-so-ever. Really enjoyed this at a steep time of 3 minutes.

Steeped for 4 minutes and had a lovely cup. Slightly floral and a little bit of natural sweetness. Great with breakfast.

While I do like this, I need to expand my tea collection at work. Kinda boring at the moment.

Auggy

I know that feeling. I have one lonely tea that I keep at work. I’ve tried to have others there but without fail, I forget to bring it home and want to drink some in the evening. Also, someone rooted through my desk and ended up dumping about half of a sample tin on the floor because they thought extra keys were in there. So now I keep no tea at work that would make me cry if I were to come in and see it scattered on my chair and the floor under my desk (no, they didn’t clean it up – just left it for me to find the next day. Mean person.)
