4tsps for 3 cups of water. The leaves were long and rolled with little flower petals. They smelled very good. You could faintly smell the grenadine and vanilla.

The liquor is coppery in color. You can smell the cherries a little more when brewed. There is a lingering flavor that I just can’t point out. I think this might be a characteristic of black teas but I’m so new to reviewing teas that I might be wrong. I feel like I have something still in my mouth, like there wasn’t a clean finish. I do like this tea and will drink it again but I will be adding something to sweeten it up.

I just added some stevia and that lingering flavor went away. I can really taste the cherry now.

I’ve been drinking tea for the past 35 years but only recently have I found ‘good’ tea. I am starting to become a tea ‘snob’ and I am ok with that. Why waste my time on bad tea?

I am in the process of developing a business plan to open up my own tea business, Bee-Tea. I will be attending the World Tea Expo and the New Business Boot Camp. Follow me at www.Facebook.com/BeeTeaCompany to watch me grow.

I also teach various aerobics classes at 24HourFitness and the YMCA to keep in shape and I am a software developer by trade.
