When I saw this in the store, I could not resist!! I’m a sucker for amaretto… every time. and wow is it good! I only wish that it wasn’t herbal.
The sweet amaretto really pops(too much I think!), and the almonds peek out a bit too. Not much mind you, I do wish they were more present.
It made me sad that the earthy Lapacho taste was so hidden. I was so looking forward to that part. Oh well.
I think I under-leafed the cup. Next time, this just might blow my socks off! :)

Are there whole almonds in the tea? That would make it realllly heavy :(
not really, more slivers than whole pieces. The lapacho is super light so that helps to!
How does it compare to Alpine Punch?
Hmm, Alpine Punch is ok… I enjoyed the sample I had but it didn’t blow me away. I’ve been meaning to buy a smidge to try it out “my way”- since they always mess it up in the store!
I think I like this better than Alpine Punch, but there is a slight apple cider taste with AP along with the amaretto that I like too. I can’t decide. Wonder if adding some mate or pu-erh of vanilla oolong would be good to cocktail for a kick.
