I tried giving this another shot today. It’s been over a year since I had a cuppa, and this was a free sample so why not!
Overall, I must say it was much better than the in-store cup I had. Must have been a bad batch.
This one was nice and rounded. A little to sharp for my tastes but still tasty. Must have been cloves and cinnamon that made it so potent. Well, I also brewed it up quite strong, which is just how I like my chais. Bitter almost, so that the milk can swoop right in and save the day! ha.
Raising the rating a bit here. Not my fave blend but I’d take it if someone offered me a cup!! :)

Funny, my store was selling those old Christmas ornaments at half-off, so they were 2 bucks. The girls there are very casual with me as I am such a regular, so when I asked about the teas in the ornament, they told me that the green and the oolong were good, but, “The last one’s masala chai, and that one’s nasty.” LOL. I told them I already had a bag of it at home, and I like it!
haha nice! masala isn’t for everyone, I’ll give them that though. Like Lapsang, it’s love or hate :)
I think this is the one you sent me I-Bloom…you couldn’t remember who it was from…just a Masala…har har. I think I’ll brew some up!
