Thank you… to whoever sent this to me! Was it* SimplyJen? or NinaVampi?* Hmmmm. I had them in nice n neat piles but they got mixed up when we cleaned out the cupboards a few months ago. oops :/
Anyhow, the tea…
This is interesting. Chocolate is the first note. Light and juicy, not heavy the way I pictured chocolate would be. Behind that is an equally light minty flavour. Somewhat distant compared to the chocolate but that part is nice. I wouldn’t want it overpowering the tea.
However, it did taste a bit plasticky, and I’m not sure why! I’ve seen that in green teas before.
The second steep was better than the first. Much more balanced with the tea flavour, however I found it rather scratchy as well.
Oh and I made a cup (of the first steep) for Dad and he hated it! I was shocked, as he has never, to my knowledge, poured a cup of anything, much less tea, down the drain. I mean, it wasn’t terrible. Really!! and the face he made… well, that was priceless. ha!
Nonetheless, it was a pleasant experience. I’d drink this one again!
OK so the second steep… I accidentally let the rest of my cup get cold and I think this would be great iced!! Upping the rating :)
