7 Tasting Notes
The tea has those qualities that I hunt for with aged sheng puerhs. Woody, camphor, humid flavor and relaxing yet stimulating qi. Meditative.
Fortunate enough to grab the last two of these on sale. They’re gone now.
Flavors: Camphor, Wood
Preparation
This is not an elegant, subtle tea. This is a tea for those who want their tongues wrestled into submission. Potent and smoky. Laphroaig, anyone?
Preparation
Fortunate to get 100gm of this before it’s departure from Chawangshop. As pointed out by Cwyn and Boychik, this is a delightful stoner tea. Also as pointed out by another tea friend who shall remain nameless here, " we drink tea not for it’s taste, but for it’s affect on the body". Cheers.
Consumed as part of Dark Matter 2016. Concurring with Liquid Proust in that it reminds me of a Taiwanese Red Jade. Sweet, no astringency. Liked it, although not sure it’s sufficiently in my wheelhouse to purchase.
Nice snag. I invested in some of the meishuzi myself, but this one was also tempting.
Good stuff.
